10 x Allium 'Mount Everest'

Allium 'Mount Everest' is an elegant ornamental onion with tall stems and large, rounded white flower heads. The clean white blooms stand out beautifully in borders, gravel gardens, and modern planting schemes, where they add height and a crisp, sophisticated look.

The long, sturdy stems make this variety useful as a cut flower for fresh arrangements. In the garden, the flowers also provide valuable nectar for bees and other pollinators, making 'Mount Everest' both decorative and wildlife-friendly.

Watering and Care

Water regularly while the plant is actively growing, allowing the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid soggy soil and reduce watering in winter.

Maintenance

After flowering, remove the spent flower stems to keep the plant neat. The foliage can be trimmed back once it has naturally yellowed.

Location

Plant in full sun and well-draining soil. Good drainage is especially important for healthy bulbs.

Tip

Plant several bulbs together for a bold display. The tall white flower heads look especially impressive in groups.
