125 × Lebanese squills

Puschkinia libanotica, commonly known as striped squill, is a charming early-spring bulb with delicate pale flowers marked by blue stripes. It is ideal for rock gardens, borders, lawns, and planting beneath deciduous trees.

When planted in groups, Puschkinia can create a soft carpet of spring color. Its low-growing habit also makes it useful for filling spaces between larger plants and bulbs in naturalistic garden designs.

Watering and Care

Water regularly while the plant is actively growing, especially during dry periods, but avoid waterlogged soil.

Maintenance

Remove faded flowers and allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering.

Location

Choose a sunny to partially shaded location with well-draining soil.

Tip

Plant bulbs in groups for a natural-looking display. These early bloomers are especially effective when allowed to spread gradually.
