Yarrow

Achillea crithmifolia stands out with its finely divided foliage and graceful, natural growth habit, bringing texture and movement to perennial borders. Throughout the summer, it produces abundant creamy-white to pale yellow flower clusters that provide an important nectar source for bees and butterflies while adding soft colour to the garden for many weeks. Best grown in a sunny location with free-draining soil, this drought-tolerant perennial remains attractive year after year with minimal care. Its elegant character and reliable performance make it a valuable addition to naturalistic and Mediterranean-style plantings.

Care/Water

Plant Achillea crithmifolia in humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep soil moderately moist, especially during dry periods. Avoid waterlogging.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers to maintain a tidy appearance. Light pruning after flowering promotes new growth. Apply light fertilization in spring to enhance blooms.

Location

Prefers full sun. Ideal for rock gardens, borders, and natural-style gardens. Protect from strong winds.

Tip

Attracts bees and butterflies. Use mulch to retain soil moisture longer.
