During summer, numerous crisp white flowers appear above the compact foliage, creating a fresh contrast while attracting bees and other beneficial insects. It performs best in warm, sunny positions with well-drained soil and tolerates both drought and winter cold exceptionally well. Thanks to its durable nature and effortless maintenance, this perennial is perfect for gardeners seeking long-lasting beauty with minimal effort.
Care/Water
Plant Achillea kellereri in well-drained, slightly sandy soil. Keep soil moderately moist, especially during dry summer months. Avoid standing water.
Maintenance
Regularly remove faded flowers. Cut back dead stems to promote healthy growth. Light spring fertilization supports strong blooms.
Location
Prefers sunny, warm locations. Ideal for rock gardens, borders, and alpine-style gardens. Protect from strong winds.
Tip
Attracts bees and butterflies. Mulching helps retain soil moisture and suppress weeds.
