Lily of the Nile 'Lilliput'

Agapanthus 'Lilliput' is a compact African lily perfectly suited to smaller gardens, balconies, and decorative containers without sacrificing flowering performance. Throughout summer, numerous blue-violet blooms rise above the neat, narrow foliage, providing vibrant colour in a manageable size. It flourishes in sunny positions with well-drained soil, where it flowers dependably year after year. Combining compact growth with a long blooming period, this easy-care variety is ideal for versatile planting arrangements.

Care/Water

Agapanthus 'Lilliput' requires regular watering during the growing season to keep the soil slightly moist. Avoid waterlogging, as this can harm the roots. Water in the morning or evening, especially on hot days, to reduce evaporation.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers and yellow leaves. Trim damaged plant parts so that energy flows to healthy shoots and new blooms. Light spring fertilization supports strong flower stems and lush foliage.

Location

Prefers sunny to partially shaded spots. Soil should be well-draining, nutrient-rich, and evenly slightly moist for optimal growth.

Tip

Check soil moisture regularly, apply mulch, and remove weeds. This ensures a healthy plant that blooms abundantly.
