Alnus glutinosa 25x Gewone Els, 60 - 90, BW offers a robust batch of native alder trees, ideal for natural planting projects. Each order contains 25 healthy specimens with a height of 60-90 cm. These bare-root (BW) alders are selected for strong root systems and uniform growth habit, sourced from reliable nurseries. A practical choice for larger-scale planting, supplied in a single, convenient delivery.

Water

Keep the soil evenly moist, especially in dry spells. Alder tolerates wet soil near ponds, but avoid long-term waterlogging that may rot roots.

Maintenance

Prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing branches and to shape lightly. Remove suckers at the base to strengthen the main stem.

Standplaats

Plant in full sun to partial shade on fertile, moist soil. Avoid drought-prone sites; alder thrives where the roots stay damp.

Tips

Mulch to conserve moisture, feed sparingly in spring, and monitor for rust or canker. Provide good air circulation to keep the plant healthy.

Alnus glutinosa 25x Gewone Els, 60 - 90, BW brings graceful lines and natural charm to larger schemes. Its textured bark and airy crown create subtle movement and year-round structural interest. Ideal for creating rhythm and depth, these specimens offer seasonal contrast and native character that elevate garden compositions.
