Lucerne has a mild, fresh flavour and is very rich in vitamins. The sprouts can be stored in a tightly closed bowl in the fridge for several days. They are used in salads, appetisers and as a topping for bread. Soak the seeds overnight in a glass jar sealed with a piece of gauze cloth held together with a rubber band. Pour off the water. From now on, rinse the seeds in the jar well twice a day with fresh water and allow to drain. Leave to grow at room temperature. The sprouts can be used after about 5 days. Dose: one sachet is sufficient for 3 to 4 sprouts.
