Care & Water

Water Almond willow regularly, keeping soil evenly moist in the first year. After establishment it tolerates partial drought but avoid waterlogging; mulch to conserve moisture.

Maintenance

Prune lightly after flowering to shape and remove dead or crossing branches. Feed sparingly in spring if growth slows.

Location

Plant in a sunny to partial-shade site with rich, well-drained soil. Avoid low spots that hold water and give the tree space to spread.

Tips

Near a water source helps irrigation. Fast-growing but needs staking in windy areas; watch for aphids.
