Japanese anemone 'Little Princess'

Anemone hupehensis 'Little Princess' is a compact Japanese anemone that produces charming soft pink flowers from late summer into autumn, extending the season with fresh colour. Its neat growth habit makes it particularly suitable for smaller borders, edging, and decorative containers without overwhelming the surrounding planting. Rich, humus-filled soil with consistent moisture encourages abundant flowering in sunny or partially shaded positions. This elegant perennial provides reliable autumn interest while requiring only minimal care.

Care/Water

Anemone hupehensis 'Little Princess' requires regular watering during the growing season. Keep the soil evenly moist but avoid waterlogging to prevent root rot. Water preferably in the morning or evening, especially during warm and dry periods, to ensure optimal hydration.

Maintenance

After flowering, remove faded flowers and dried leaves to keep the plant neat and healthy. Trim old stems if needed to encourage new growth. Light spring fertilization supports flower formation and strengthens the plant.

Location

Prefers partially shaded spots with well-draining, humus-rich soil. Ideal for flower beds, borders, or natural-style gardens, where the decorative flower colors stand out beautifully.
