St. Bernard’s lily

Anthericum liliago is an elegant perennial featuring graceful star-shaped white flowers held high above slender grass-like foliage. The airy flower stems bring lightness and movement to rock gardens, sunny borders, and naturalistic plantings while maintaining a refined appearance. It flourishes in warm locations with well-drained soil and develops into a dependable long-lived garden plant. Combining delicate beauty with robust performance, this species remains attractive for many years.

Care/Water

Anthericum liliago requires consistent watering during the growing season, especially in dry periods. Keep the soil lightly moist but avoid waterlogging to prevent root damage. Water preferably in the morning or evening to provide optimal hydration.

Maintenance

Regularly remove old flower stems and dead leaves to promote healthy growth and encourage new blooms. Trim weak or damaged stems. Light spring fertilization supports the plant, helping to produce strong flowers and healthy foliage.
