Branched St. Bernard’s lily

Anthericum ramosum displays delicate white star-shaped flowers on beautifully branched stems that rise above neat, narrow foliage resembling ornamental grass. This long-lived perennial introduces elegance and a natural feel to sunny borders, wildflower gardens, and alpine-style plantings. It performs exceptionally well in freely draining soils and tolerates dry conditions once established. Extended flowering and a resilient nature make it a valuable choice for low-maintenance landscapes.

Care/Water

Anthericum ramosum requires consistent watering during the growing season. Keep the soil lightly moist but avoid waterlogging to prevent root damage. Especially in hot weather, watering in the morning or evening is optimal to provide the plant with sufficient moisture.

Maintenance

Regularly remove old flowers and dead leaves to promote healthy growth and support new blooms. Trim weak or damaged stems. Light spring fertilization ensures strong flowers and healthy plant growth.

Location

Prefers sunny to partially shaded spots with well-draining, humus-rich soil. Ideal for rock gardens, borders, or natural-style beds where the white flowers are particularly attractive.
