Heart-leaved aster 'Ideal'

Aster cordifolius 'Ideal' produces generous clusters of soft lavender-blue flowers that bring elegant colour to the garden well into autumn. Bushy growth and masses of small blossoms create a light, airy appearance that blends beautifully with ornamental grasses and other late-flowering perennials. This easy-care variety is exceptionally winter hardy and flowers reliably year after year with very little maintenance. Its graceful habit makes it a versatile addition to both formal and naturalistic borders.

Care/Water

Aster cordifolius 'Ideal' requires regular and consistent watering throughout the growing season. The soil should always be slightly moist, never soggy. During dry periods, more frequent, gentle watering may be necessary.
