Heath aster 'Blue Star'

Aster ericoides 'Blue Star' is covered with countless pale blue flowers that brighten gardens from late summer well into autumn. Fine branching creates a light, cloud-like effect that brings softness and movement to perennial borders while blending beautifully with ornamental grasses. This low-maintenance autumn aster performs best in sunny positions and flowers abundantly every year. Its profusion of blooms provides an excellent nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

Care/Water

Aster ericoides 'Blue Star' requires consistent watering throughout the growing season. Keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid waterlogging to maintain healthy roots. Water more often during particularly hot summer weeks.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers and dead leaves to keep the plant healthy. Light fertilization in spring supports strong shoots and abundant flowering. After flowering, a light pruning prepares the plant for the next season.
