White wild indigo (pendula)

Baptisia alba (pendula) produces elegant spires of pure white flowers that rise above attractive blue-green foliage in late spring. Its strong, bushy habit adds structure and presence to sunny perennial borders while becoming increasingly impressive as it matures. This hardy prairie perennial thrives in well-drained soil and develops into a long-lived clump. Decorative seed pods continue to provide ornamental interest long after flowering has finished.
