Milky bellflower 'White Pouffe'

Campanula lactiflora 'White Pouffe' impresses with a multitude of pure white, star-shaped flowers that form dense clouds of blooms in summer. The compact growth habit makes this variety particularly suitable for the front of perennial borders and sunny to semi-shaded plantings. Numerous bees and bumblebees visit the nectar-rich flowers during the long flowering period.

Watering and Care

Campanula lactiflora 'White Pouffe' grows best in well-drained soil that remains lightly moist without becoming waterlogged. During extended dry spells, additional watering helps maintain healthy growth and abundant flowering. Avoid overly wet conditions, as constantly saturated roots may reduce plant vigor.

Maintenance

Regularly removing faded flowers helps extend the display and keeps the plant looking tidy. Old stems and foliage can be cut back in early spring to encourage fresh new growth.

Location

A position in full sun or partial shade provides ideal growing conditions. Good light levels combined with suitable soil will encourage strong growth and reliable flowering.
