Roman chamomile 'Ligulosum'

Chamaemelum nobile 'Ligulosum' impresses with densely double, pure white flowers that resemble small pompons. The finely structured, pleasantly scented foliage creates an attractive contrast with the abundant flowers and gives the plant a neat appearance. The compact plant is ideal for sunny borders, herb gardens, and low edging.

Watering and Care

Chamaemelum nobile 'Ligulosum' grows best in well-drained soil that remains lightly moist without becoming waterlogged. During extended dry spells, additional watering helps maintain healthy growth and abundant flowering. Avoid overly wet conditions, as constantly saturated roots may reduce plant vigor.

Maintenance

Regularly removing faded flowers helps extend the display and keeps the plant looking tidy. Old stems and foliage can be cut back in early spring to encourage fresh new growth.

Location

A position in full sun or partial shade provides ideal growing conditions. Good light levels combined with suitable soil will encourage strong growth and reliable flowering.
