This versatile cabbage is grown for summer cultivation and for autumn and winter harvests. It tolerates moisture and the first frost well. The head is full and vigorous. Sow in a cold frame for pricking out after 1 month or directly on the spot in a good position, thinning out as you go. Cut off the plant with a knife. If the heart is not yellow enough, leave for a few days longer and water regularly. It is customary to bind all the leaves together to whiten them and make them less bitter. Sowing: April to September - Harvest: September to Nov - Traditional, reproducible seeds of farmer's vegetable varieties without hybrids or GMOs!
