Care and Water
Provide deep, infrequent watering; keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Mulch to 5–8 cm to conserve moisture and reduce weed growth.
Maintenance
Prune after flowering to shape and remove dead or crossing branches. Light shaping is fine, but avoid heavy pruning that reduces bloom.
Site and Placement
Plant in a sunny to partial shade spot with well-drained soil. It tolerates clay but appreciates organic matter; space plants 2–3 m apart to accommodate growth.
