Garden pink 'Munot'

Dianthus plumarius 'Munot' produces large, pleasantly scented flowers in a delicate pink shade with finely fringed petals. The silvery blue-green foliage forms dense cushions and remains decorative even outside the flowering period. This hardy pink provides romantic accents in rock gardens, edging plantings, and sunny perennial borders.

Watering and Care

Dianthus plumarius 'Munot' grows best in well-drained soil that remains lightly moist without becoming waterlogged. During extended dry spells, additional watering helps maintain healthy growth and abundant flowering. Avoid overly wet conditions, as constantly saturated roots may reduce plant vigor.

Maintenance

Regularly removing faded flowers helps extend the display and keeps the plant looking tidy. Old stems and foliage can be cut back in early spring to encourage fresh new growth.

Location

A position in full sun or partial shade provides ideal growing conditions. Good light levels combined with suitable soil will encourage strong growth and reliable flowering.
