Variety for a late harvest. The well-green leaves fold over the heart, forming a kind of round apple. The inner leaves, which are covered in this way, are beautifully white. Sow 1/2 cm deep in rows 25/30 cm apart. Thin out one month after emergence, leave one plant every 20/25 cm and prick out. Water and hoe. To harvest sufficiently large plants, aerate the crop well and water regularly. If the heart is not yellow enough, leave it a few days longer and water regularly. Endive leaves are highly prized for their crunchiness, digestive and diuretic qualities. Sowing: April to September - Harvesting: July to February - Traditional, reproducible seeds of agricultural vegetable varieties without hybrids or GMOs!
