This variety comes from Elne in Occitania and has green leaves with golden hues that are very flavourful. The ribs are thick, smooth and flavourful. Medium-early, hardy and high-yielding. Sow in a tray with fine, nutrient-rich soil. If necessary, thin out the plants when they have 2-3 leaves. Prick out into the open ground in June/July at a distance of 30 cm. Harvest 5 to 6 months after sowing, depending on requirements. You can possibly top dress with straw or dried leaves. Celery is demanding, plan a layer of mulch to maintain moisture at the base of the plant and a good supply of organic matter. Sowing: February to June - Harvest: Jan. to March / Nov. to Dec. - Traditional, reproducible seeds of agricultural vegetable varieties without hybrids and GMOs!
