Care and Watering

Telekia speciosa thrives in moist, well-drained soil. Water deeply to keep soil evenly damp, reducing watering after flowering. Mulch to retain moisture.

Plant in full sun to light shade. It blooms best in sun, but tolerates partial shade. Protect from strong winds and provide 60–90 cm spacing.

Maintenance

Remove spent blooms, divide clumps every 3–4 years in spring, and feed lightly with a balanced fertilizer.

Tips

Winter-mulch for protection, watch for slugs, and use supports for tall flower stems.
