  • Double yellow flowers with dark eye.
  • Blooms late summer to autumn.
  • Easy-care and robust.
  • Ideal for perennial borders.
  • Attracts pollinators.

Helenium 'Double Trouble' delights with fully double, bright yellow flowers that provide cheerful colour for many weeks. Its unusual flower form sets it apart from traditional sneezeweed varieties, making it a true focal point in the garden. It performs beautifully in sunny perennial borders and attracts numerous bees and other pollinators.

Care/Water

Helenium 'Double Trouble' prefers humus-rich, well-drained soil that is kept evenly moist without waterlogging. During warm summer months, regular watering helps support vigorous growth and vibrant flower colors.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers to keep the plant looking tidy and prolong the flowering period. Pruning after flowering encourages growth and helps maintain a compact, healthy plant.

Location

Prefers sunny spots with good air circulation and protection from strong winds. Ideal for beds, borders, or naturalistic plantings where the colorful flowers stand out.

Tip

Mulching with organic material helps retain moisture and reduce weeds. Balanced fertilization during the growing season supports flowering and plant health long-term.

Helenium 'Double Trouble' features full flowers in intense hues, providing a lively and cheerful accent in borders and rock gardens. Its foliage keeps the plant tidy and enhances the flowers.
