Christmas rose 'Snow Love'

Helleborus nigercors 'Snow Love' delights with large creamy white flowers that gradually develop soft pink hues as they mature. The vigorous dark green foliage remains attractive throughout winter, providing a beautiful backdrop for the abundant blooms. This hardy hybrid is ideal for partially shaded borders and is valued for its long flowering season and excellent winter hardiness.

Care/Water

Helleborus nigercors 'Snow Love' requires consistent watering during the growing season, especially in dry periods, to keep leaves and flowers healthy. Ensure the soil remains moist but well-drained to prevent waterlogging, which can damage the roots and affect the plant’s overall health.

Maintenance

Regularly removing old leaves and faded flowers helps keep the plant tidy and vigorous. Light pruning in late winter or early spring encourages the development of new shoots and strong leaves, allowing the plant to reach its full aesthetic potential.

Location

Prefers partially shaded to shaded areas with humus-rich, well-drained soil. Ideal for shaded flower beds, woodland edges, or natural-style gardens, where it provides elegant structure and winter blooms that brighten colder months.

Tip

Apply organic mulch around the base of the plant in spring to retain moisture and protect the roots from temperature fluctuations. This variety is winter-hardy, robust, and attracts bees and other beneficial insects, enhancing the biodiversity of your garden.

Helleborus nigercors 'Snow Love' offers a harmonious mix of flowers and foliage that brighten borders and gardens. The plant is hardy and maintains a neat, elegant appearance throughout the season.
