Lenten rose 'Green'

Helleborus orientalis 'Green' is distinguished by its unusually large greenish flowers, which create a fresh and natural appearance. The long-lasting blooms remain decorative for many weeks, providing a graceful transition between winter and spring. Its vigorous evergreen foliage offers attractive structure throughout the year.

Care/Water

Helleborus orientalis 'Green' requires regular watering throughout the growing and flowering season to keep leaves juicy and allow the blooms to develop their characteristic green color. Ensure that the soil remains humus-rich, well-drained, and slightly moist to prevent waterlogging that could damage the roots.

Maintenance

Regularly remove old leaves and faded flowers to maintain a healthy and tidy plant. Light pruning in late winter encourages new shoots and ensures abundant and lush blooms each year.

Location

Prefers partially shaded to sunny locations with humus-rich, well-drained soil. Perfect for natural-style gardens, woodland edges, or planting under trees, providing structure and attractive green blooms.
