Lenten rose 'Yellow'

Helleborus orientalis 'Yellow' fills the garden with warm, soft yellow flowers when many other plants are still dormant. The large blooms appear in abundance and contrast beautifully with the rich dark green foliage. This long-lived Lenten rose is hardy, reliable, and remarkably easy to grow.

Care/Water

Helleborus orientalis 'Yellow' should be watered regularly during the growing and flowering season to keep leaves fresh and allow the bright yellow blooms to display optimally. Ensure the soil is humus-rich, well-drained, and evenly moist to prevent waterlogging that could harm the roots.

Maintenance

Regularly remove old leaves and faded flowers to maintain a healthy and vigorous plant. Light pruning in late winter encourages new shoots and ensures abundant, even blooming in spring.

Location

Prefers partially shaded to sunny locations with humus-rich, well-drained soil. Perfect for natural-style gardens, woodland edges, or under trees, as the plant provides structure and striking yellow blooms.
