Daylily 'Big Time Happy'

Hemerocallis 'Big Time Happy' produces brilliant golden-yellow flowers that bloom repeatedly from early summer well into autumn. Its compact habit makes this prolific daylily perfect for smaller borders, containers, and patio plantings. Hardy and easy to grow, it performs especially well in sunny locations.

Care/Water

Hemerocallis 'Big Time Happy' requires regular watering during the flowering season, especially during warm weather, to keep its bright yellow flowers and healthy foliage in top condition. The soil should be humus-rich, well-drained, and evenly moist, as waterlogging can harm the roots and reduce flowering.

Maintenance

Regular removal of faded flowers and old foliage keeps the plant vigorous and promotes new bud formation. Light pruning after flowering ensures the plant remains compact and blooms abundantly the following year.

Location

Prefers sunny to partially shaded locations with nutrient-rich, well-drained soil. Perfect for borders, flowerbeds, or natural-style plantings, as the bright yellow flowers brighten the garden and add cheerful accents.
