Daylily 'Blueberry Candy'

Hemerocallis 'Blueberry Candy' stands out with lavender-pink flowers highlighted by a striking purple eye and a yellow-green throat. The bold colour contrast creates an exceptional focal point and adds elegance to summer borders. It grows vigorously in fertile soils and produces an abundance of blooms.

Care/Water

Hemerocallis 'Blueberry Candy' should be watered regularly during the growing and flowering season, especially on hot summer days, to keep leaves healthy and allow the blue blooms to develop beautifully. The soil should be humus-rich, well-drained, and evenly moist to prevent waterlogging that could harm the roots.

Maintenance

Regularly remove old leaves and faded flowers to maintain a healthy plant and ensure a long flowering period. Light pruning after flowering supports new flower shoots and keeps the plant compact.

Location

Prefers a sunny location but can also grow in partial shade. Perfect for borders, flowerbeds, and natural-style plantings, as the light blue blooms add fresh color accents.

Tip

Mulch around the base to retain moisture and protect the roots. Hemerocallis 'Blueberry Candy' attracts bees and is easy to maintain, making it suitable even for inexperienced gardeners.
