Daylily 'Bonanza'

Hemerocallis 'Bonanza' delights with golden-yellow flowers highlighted by a striking reddish-brown eye. Its compact growth and long flowering season make it a versatile perennial for borders, beds, and mixed plantings. Thanks to its excellent winter hardiness and easy-care nature, it remains attractive for many years.

Care/Water

Hemerocallis 'Bonanza' should be watered regularly during the growing and flowering season, especially on warm days, to keep leaves healthy and the vibrant orange blooms abundant. The soil should be humus-rich, well-drained, and evenly moist to prevent waterlogging that could harm the roots.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers and dead leaves to maintain a vigorous plant and extend the flowering period. Light pruning after flowering encourages new flower shoots and helps keep the plant compact.

Location

Prefers a sunny location but can also thrive in lightly shaded areas. Perfect for borders, flowerbeds, or natural-style plantings, as the bright blooms provide strong color accents.

Tip

Mulch around the base to retain moisture and protect the roots from temperature fluctuations. Hemerocallis 'Bonanza' attracts bees and is easy to care for, making it suitable for beginner gardeners as well.
