Golden hop

Humulus lupulus 'Aureus' brings striking colour to fences, pergolas, and climbing supports with its bright golden-yellow foliage. The fast-growing climber develops decorative hop cones in summer and creates dense greenery. Especially in contrast with dark green shrubs, this hardy variety displays its intense foliage colour and adds lively accents to the garden.

Watering and Care

Humulus lupulus 'Aureus' performs best in a well-prepared garden soil with balanced moisture levels. During extended dry periods, regular watering helps maintain healthy growth and keeps the plant looking its best throughout the season. Avoid overly wet conditions, as excessive moisture may affect root health.

Maintenance

This plant remains attractive with only minimal care. Removing faded flowers and old foliage encourages fresh growth and helps maintain a neat appearance in borders and garden beds.

Location

A bright position with plenty of natural light provides ideal growing conditions. In the right location, the plant will develop a strong habit and display its ornamental qualities to the fullest.
