Care/Water

Iris germanica 'Garibaldi' needs consistent watering during its active growth period, especially in dry conditions. The soil should be well-drained and kept slightly moist, while preventing water from pooling around the roots.

Maintenance

Regularly removing spent flowers and old foliage supports healthy plant development. Light pruning after flowering encourages strong new growth and maintains a neat growth habit.

Location

This bearded iris prefers a sunny location where it can fully develop its flowers. Iris germanica 'Garibaldi' is well suited for borders, flower beds, and structured garden designs.

Tip

Loosening the soil occasionally improves air circulation and prevents waterlogging. This helps maintain healthy roots and extends the plant’s lifespan.
