Bearded iris 'Harvest of Memories'

Iris germanica 'Harvest of Memories' delights with rich golden-yellow flowers that bloom in late spring and, under favourable conditions, often produce a second display in autumn. The sword-shaped foliage forms vigorous clumps, providing attractive structure throughout the growing season. This hardy variety offers long-lasting colour in sunny borders while attracting numerous pollinating insects.

Care/Water

The Iris 'Harvest of Memories' should be watered regularly, especially during dry periods. Ensure the soil is well-drained to keep roots healthy. Keep the soil slightly moist to support optimal growth and strong blooms. Early morning watering is ideal to protect leaves and flowers.

Maintenance

Remove faded flowers to keep the plant vital. Trim damaged leaves and old shoots to make room for new growth. Light pruning after flowering helps the plant stay compact and healthy.

Location

This Iris thrives in a sunny location with good air circulation. Too much shade weakens flowering. An open, bright spot helps prevent disease.

Tip

Lightly mulch around the plant to retain moisture and reduce maintenance. Mature plants can be divided every few years to maintain vitality and bloom quality.

Iris germanica 'Harvest of Memories' offers fresh foliage and flowers reminiscent of classic garden designs. The foliage supports the blooms and keeps the plant healthy and attractive in borders.
