Bearded iris 'Pinnacle'

Iris germanica 'Pinnacle' offers timeless elegance with its large, beautifully shaped pure white flowers. Blooming in late spring, the impressive flowers rise on strong stems well above the grey-green foliage. Its vigorous growth makes this bearded iris an excellent choice for sunny borders and perennial beds. The crisp white blooms combine effortlessly with a wide variety of companion plants.

Care/Water

The Iris 'Pinnacle' requires regular watering during the growing season. The soil should be loose and well-drained to prevent waterlogging that could damage the roots. During hot summer weeks, water consistently to prevent leaves from drying out. Consistent moisture supports strong roots and healthy foliage.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers and yellowing leaves to direct energy to healthy shoots. Trim damaged leaves to keep the plant compact. Light pruning after flowering encourages abundant blooms next year.

Location

This Iris prefers a sunny location with good air circulation. Partial shade is tolerated but may reduce flowering intensity. An open spot protects the plant from fungal diseases.

Tip

Loosen the soil regularly and use a thin mulch layer to retain moisture. This keeps the plant healthy and makes maintenance much easier.

Iris germanica 'Pinnacle' combines fresh green foliage with flowers that give borders an elegant and striking accent. The foliage supports the blooms and keeps the plant healthy and graceful.
