Bearded iris 'Rosa'

Iris germanica 'Rosa' brings a romantic touch to the garden with its delicate pink flowers. Large blooms appear in May and June, standing out beautifully against the sword-shaped grey-green foliage. This robust bearded iris has an upright habit and gradually forms strong clumps over the years. It is perfectly suited to sunny borders and traditional perennial gardens.

Care/Water

The Iris 'Rosa' requires regular watering during the growing season, especially in hot weather. The soil should be loose and well-drained to prevent standing water. Consistent moisture supports strong roots and healthy foliage. Morning watering protects leaves and flowers from drying out.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers and old leaves to maintain plant vitality. Trim damaged leaves to promote new shoots. Light pruning after flowering ensures abundant blooms next year.

Location

This Iris prefers a sunny, well-ventilated location. Partial shade is tolerated but reduces flowering. An open spot protects the plant from fungal diseases.

Tip

Loosen the soil regularly and use a thin mulch layer to retain moisture and nutrients. This makes maintenance easier and keeps the plant healthy.

Iris germanica 'Rosa' combines fresh green foliage with flowers that give borders a soft and romantic accent. The foliage supports the blooms and keeps the plant healthy and graceful.
