Care and Watering

Maintenance

Prune lightly after leaf drop to shape, remove dead wood, avoid heavy pruning, and feed with a balanced fertilizer in spring.

Location

Choose a sheltered site with dappled sun or morning sun; protect from strong winds and intense afternoon sun to prevent leaf scorch.

Tips

Use well-drained soil, mulch 5–7 cm, monitor for pests, and gradually acclimate young trees for best color and growth.
