Tree mallow 'White Angel'

Lavatera 'White Angel' produces large pure white flowers that give the garden a fresh and elegant appearance. From summer into autumn, countless bowl-shaped blooms rise above the vigorous foliage, providing months of floral interest. Its bushy habit is perfect for sunny borders and naturalistic plantings. The nectar-rich flowers are especially attractive to bees and butterflies.

Care/Water

Lavatera 'White Angel' requires regular watering during the growing season, especially on hot, dry days. The soil should be well-drained, nutrient-rich, and slightly moist to support strong shoots and lush blooms. Water at the base, avoid wetting foliage, and maintain consistent moisture for optimal flowering.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers to encourage new shoots. Light pruning after flowering promotes compact plants and healthy shoots. Organic fertilizer supports strong blooms and growth. Check regularly for pests to keep the plant healthy.

Location

This Lavatera prefers sunny locations with well-drained soil. Partial shade is tolerated but may reduce flower abundance. Open, lightly sheltered spots promote healthy plants, strong shoots, and even, long-lasting flowering.

Tip

After flowering, lightly prune the plant and apply mulch around the base. This keeps the plant healthy and extends the flowering period through summer.

Lavatera 'White Angel' impresses with fresh foliage and white blooms, elegantly highlighting perennial beds and borders. The foliage supports the flowers and contributes to plant health.
