Care and Watering

Sagina subulata 'Aurea' (Lime Moss) prefers bright light and moist, well-draining soil. Water regularly to keep the root zone evenly damp but never waterlogged, and avoid heavy droughts that brown the lime foliage.

Maintenance

Trim lightly after flowering to keep the cushion compact, and remove dead runners to maintain a neat, even mat. Fertilize sparingly in spring with a balanced, slow-release formula.

Location and Tips

Plant in full sun to light shade with excellent drainage. Use as a low ground cover between stepping stones or in rock gardens. Tip: mulch lightly to retain moisture and prevent weed competition.
