Daffodil 'Mount Hood'

Myosotis sylvatica fills the spring garden with countless small sky-blue flowers featuring cheerful yellow centres. This compact woodland perennial forms dense cushions of fresh green foliage, making it ideal for borders, woodland edges, and naturalistic gardens. During its long flowering season, the blooms attract bees and other pollinators while creating a wonderfully romantic spring display.

Care/Water

Myosotis sylvatica requires regular watering during the growing season, especially in dry weather. The soil should be humus-rich, moist, and well-drained to allow the plant to grow vigorously and produce numerous flowers. Consistent moisture supports healthy leaf and flower development.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers to encourage new blooms. Trim dead foliage once it yellows to keep the plant fresh. Organic fertilization in spring supports vitality and promotes abundant flowering.

Location

Myosotis sylvatica prefers a partially shaded to sunny location with humus-rich, well-drained soil. Partial shade protects the leaves from drying out, while sunlight ensures the best flowering. Good air circulation prevents fungal diseases.
