Daffodil 'Thalia'

Narcissus 'Actaea' produces large pure white flowers with a small yellow cup delicately edged in red. This elegant poetic daffodil blooms in late spring and releases a delightful fragrance. Its upright habit and slender foliage make it an excellent choice for borders, meadows, and naturalised spring plantings.

Care/Water

Narcissus 'Actaea' requires regular watering during the growing season, especially in spring. The soil should be humus-rich, well-drained, and evenly moist to allow the bulb to grow strong and produce numerous flowers. Adequate moisture supports healthy leaves and long-lasting blooms.

Maintenance

Regularly remove faded flowers to direct the plant’s energy toward new buds. Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering before removing it. Organic fertilization in spring promotes strong plants and abundant flowering.

Location

Place Narcissus 'Actaea' in a sunny to partially shaded location with well-drained soil. Avoid direct afternoon sun to prevent leaf burn. The plant can also grow in lightly shaded spots but prefers full sun for optimal flowering.

Tip

Leave the bulbs in the ground after flowering so they can multiply for the next spring. Plant multiple bulbs together to create a rich, colorful flower bed.

Narcissus 'Actaea' features decorative foliage and elegant flowers, visually enriching beds and borders. The foliage supports plant health.
