Daffodil

Narcissus pseudonarcissus subsp. lobularis is an early flowering wild daffodil with bright yellow flowers and a characteristic trumpet shape. Its delicate appearance blends beautifully into natural gardens, meadows, and woodland edges. This hardy bulbous plant provides fresh colour accents in early spring and offers an important food source for early pollinating insects.

Watering and Care

Narcissus pseudonarcissus subsp. lobularis performs best in a well-prepared garden soil with balanced moisture levels. During extended dry periods, regular watering helps maintain healthy growth and keeps the plant looking its best throughout the season. Avoid overly wet conditions, as excessive moisture may affect root health.

Maintenance

This plant remains attractive with only minimal care. Removing faded flowers and old foliage encourages fresh growth and helps maintain a neat appearance in borders and garden beds.

Location

A bright position with plenty of natural light provides ideal growing conditions. In the right location, the plant will develop a strong habit and display its ornamental qualities to the fullest.

Combine this variety with contrasting perennials or ornamental grasses to create a dynamic planting scheme with interest throughout the year.
