Care

Opal plum needs full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Mulch to conserve moisture and prune lightly after harvest to keep a strong shape and remove dead wood.

Watering & Maintenance

Water deeply during dry spells, avoiding waterlogging. Feed lightly in early spring and prune to promote airflow and fruiting wood.

Location & Tips

Choose a sheltered, sun‑oriented spot; stake young trees and watch for pests. Harvest in late summer for best flavor.
