Care and watering
Pennisetum orientale 'Karley Rose' loves full sun and well‑drained soil; water regularly after planting, then water sparingly as it establishes, tolerating drought once mature.
Maintenance
Prune back faded clumps in late winter/early spring and remove any damaged leaves; divide every 3–4 years to maintain vigor.
Location
Choose a sunny, sheltered spot with good drainage; avoid heavy clay and strong winds that can flatten the fountain plumes.
Tips
Mulch to conserve moisture, deadhead spent plumes for tidiness, and provide light fertilization in spring for best color.
Pennisetum orientale ‘Karley Rose’® Lampepoetser brings a soft, romantic touch with its pink plumes that add light and movement to any plant palette. This deciduous ornamental grass creates depth and texture without overpowering.
