Plant in 20–40 cm of clear, still water in full sun. Use nutrient-rich, neutral to slightly acidic pond soil and feed with a pond fertilizer during growing season.

Maintenance

Remove dead leaves and spent flowers weekly; repot if crowded and keep pond debris to a minimum for best blooming.

Location & Standplaats

Place at the water’s edge with the crown just at or slightly below the surface; needs shelter from strong winds.

Tips

In colder zones overwinter by lowering water level or moving to deeper water; avoid chlorine and harsh chemicals.

Nymphaea ‘Marliacea Carnea’ Waterlelie enchants with delicate pink double blooms that open like porcelain cups, lending a soft, romantic palette to any aquatic scene. Fragrant and refined, its blossoms provide a painterly contrast against glossy foliage, catching light and creating mirrorlike reflections that elevate visual interest. A true ornamental star, the Waterlelie contributes seasonal drama, textural contrast and timeless elegance with striking flowers and architectural pads.
