Care and Water

Potentilla fruticosa 'Goldteppich' loves full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly when establishing, then water deeply only when the top 2–3 cm dry. Mulch to conserve moisture and prevent weeds. Avoid waterlogging.

Maintenance

Light pruning after flowering keeps the shrub compact. Remove dead or diseased wood and faded flowers to encourage a neat form and more blooms. Fertilize sparingly in spring.

Standplaats

Choose a sunny, open spot with good air circulation. It tolerates poor soils and drought once established, but dislikes soggy ground or heavy shade.
