- Delicate foliage with pink tips.
- Long-lasting spring bloom.
- Perfect for shady borders.
- Low-maintenance and hardy.
- Attractive to bees and butterflies.
Tiarella 'Pink Skyrocket' impresses with upright spikes of soft pink flowers that rise above its beautifully lobed foliage in spring. The leaves often feature attractive dark markings and remain ornamental for a long time. This hardy foamflower is ideal for partially shaded to shady borders, woodland edges, and forest gardens, where it provides elegant spring colour.
Watering and Care
Tiarella 'Pink Skyrocket' thrives in humus-rich, consistently moist soil. It should never dry out completely, as it is sensitive to drought stress. Mulching helps retain moisture and keeps the roots cool.
Maintenance
Remove spent flower spikes regularly to keep the plant tidy and encourage a longer display. In spring, cut away old foliage to allow fresh growth.
Location
Best grown in partial to full shade in fertile, moisture-retentive soil. Ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, and underplanting shrubs.
Tip
The pink flower spikes add bright accents to shady garden spaces.
Tiarella 'Pink Skyrocket' adds summer freshness to flower beds, borders, and shady natural-style gardens with pink blooms and attractive foliage. Especially decorative as ground cover or in group plantings under trees.
The blooms attract bees, providing lively accents.
