Spike speedwell 'Anniversary Rose'

Veronica spicata 'Anniversary Rose' displays elegant pink flower spikes that rise above a compact foliage clump. Its upright growth habit makes it ideal for sunny perennial borders and combinations with ornamental grasses. During the long flowering period, many pollinators visit the nectar-rich blooms, making this hardy perennial a valuable addition to the garden ecosystem.

Watering and Care

Veronica spicata 'Anniversary Rose' performs best in well-drained garden soil that retains some moisture without becoming waterlogged. During extended dry spells, regular watering helps the plant remain healthy and encourages strong flowering. Once established, it becomes more resilient, but consistent care will always result in the most attractive growth.

Maintenance

Remove faded flowers and damaged foliage on a regular basis to keep the plant looking tidy. Cutting back old stems in spring encourages fresh new growth and helps maintain a neat habit.

Location

A position in full sun or light partial shade is ideal. Rich, loose soil with good drainage allows the plant to develop fully and produce abundant blooms.
