Care and Watering

Plant Iberis sempervirens ‘Weisser Zwerg’ in well-drained soil with full sun. Water sparingly after establishment and avoid soggy winters; drought tolerance helps but keep roots moist while young. Mulch lightly to conserve moisture but not against stems.

Maintenance

Lightly prune after flowering to maintain a compact mound; remove spent blooms and faded growth. Repot or lift only if rootbound, otherwise minimal care is fine.

Location

Choose a sunny, sheltered border or rock garden site with good drainage. It thrives near paths or walls and pairs well with low-growing perennials.

Tips

Water deeply, not daily; feed with a balanced slow-release fertilizer in spring. Watch for aphids and provide wind protection in exposed spots.

Iberis sempervirens 'Weisser Zwerg' evergreen candytuft offers a fresh, compact appearance with densely filled, bright white flower clusters that create a soft carpet effect. Its fine foliage and compact habit give a refined, architectural texture in spring. As a spring bloomer, it attracts butterflies and bees and provides an atmospheric accent in rock-and-wall gardens and borders.
