Perfect for edible landscapes and casual growing, this variety brings seasonal sweetness to your plot, offering a simple, natural harvest that you can enjoy together with family and friends.
Care and Watering
Fragaria vesca enjoys moist, well-drained soil. Water at the base regularly, avoid wet foliage, and mulch to retain moisture and keep runners in check.
Maintenance
Limit runners to keep plants compact, remove old leaves in autumn, and feed lightly with compost in spring for steady vigor.
Location and Tips
Plant in full sun to light shade with rich, humus soil. Protect from frost if potted, harvest berries when fully red, and invite nearby pollinators for better yields.
